Before founding the company, Ladi worked for Barclays Private Bank & Overseas Services for over 7 years, advising ultra-high-net-worth families from Africa on all matters concerning banking and financial advice. His experience saw him travel extensively to South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Zambia, Mauritius, Seychelles, Nigeria and Ghana to meet, build and establish trusted and productive relationships with clients and key professionals, advising them on wealth preservation, succession planning and banking matters from investments, real estate finance, capital raising, introduction to like-minded families and a range of other options.
Prior to this, he started his banking career with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) at the height of the 2008 financial crisis. There, he quickly and effectively applied his drive, resilience, integrity and natural problem-solving skills to build success, even during that extremely challenging period.
Ladi has a Masters degree in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Aberdeen, as well as a BSc in Banking and Finance. He also holds professional qualifications of Mortgage Advice in the UK and is RDR Qualified to Level 4, including Securities and Derivatives from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments. During his seven years working in the private and investment banking sector, Ladi has gained real satisfaction from solving problems that directly impacted his clients’ families and businesses, through engaging and collaborating with the valued contacts established over the past decade. His network of service providers has been tried and tested by many wealthy international families.
His experience working and dealing with multinational corporate organisations has given him first-hand exposure to many ultra-high-net-worth international families.
